Warm brown beer in the Wee Heavy style (Scotch Ale) aged 16 months in oak barrels that contained Pineau des Charentes and Sherry. It is signed Wilde Leeuw (brewing project dedicated to barrel-aged beers from the Brasserie du Pays Flamand) and was brewed in collaboration with Grizzly (French craft brewery from Clermont-Ferrand). Rich malty profile, notes of toasted caramel. Barrel aging brings a beautiful complexity: white grapes, nuts, prune and fig confit.
