    The Blond beer « Queue de Charrue » is a high fermented beer with a sweet and generous taste. It has less bitterness than the Triple but stays marrowy in mouth and has a slight fruity aroma.

    A brown beer of 5.4%, it acquires its “sweet and sour” taste after resting for 18 months in oak casks. This maturation and the various blends give it an exceptional fruit quality. Queue de Charrue will surprise you with its lightness and its refreshing character.

    A blond beer of 9% with a beautiful golden brilliance second-fermented in the bottle. It is characterised by a fine white froth, compact, with aromas of barley and hops, a prolonged bitterness and well balanced. Its taste continues to develop and becomes rounder and more mature with time.

    Amber beer of 5.5%, “Queue de Charrue” is second-fermented in the bottle. Its beautiful orange colour and its fine but dense froth gives it a light body. Its fruity finish will delight you with its refreshing character.

​Historic :


1906 : - Takeover of the brewery Gillebert by Henri Vanuxeem. At that period, the activities of the brewery mainly consisted in brewing table beers, pils, stout, export, pale-ale, bacchus. The distribution was concentrated at a local level.

1966 : Because of the ageing of the equipment and the pressure put by the biggest brewery groups, the production was stopped and the brewery became a warehouse.

1983 : Opening of a shop selling special beers in Ploegsteert (70 m²)

> 1986 : Year of the beer in Belgium. Launch of the beer "Queue de Charrue Brune".

> 1987 : Takeover of the Brewery Vanuxeem by Gaston's grandsons, Alexandre and Arnaud Mahieu. Development of its distribution activities for the hotel-restaurant-pub sector.

> 1990 : Opening of a new shop Vanuxeem in Warneton.

> 1992 : Launch of the beer "Queue de Charrue Triple". Due to the tremendous success of the shop in Ploegsteert, building of a new shop with a surface of 770 M².

> 1998 : Launch of the beer "Queue de Charrue Ambrée"

2009: Launch of the beer Queue de Charrue Blond
