Cardeña is the first Trappist beer brewed in Spain for the abbey of San Pedro de Cardeña (Burgos), one of the oldest monasteries in Spain whose existence has been attested since the 9th century.
Made by hand with a careful selection of barley malt, hops, yeast and water, with second fermentation in the bottle, following the centuries-old tradition of the Trappist master brewers.
