Historical
1995
Eddy Pourtois brews his first beer on his own. It gives birth to an amber which still holds a good place in the current range of our beers. The brewery was born in Orsinfaing, rue Sainte Hélène n ° 21. It is therefore this origin that will give the brewery its name and anchor its beers in the country and the Gaumaise tradition.

1999
First serious installation, while remaining modest, it allows brews of 3 hectoliters. This year is also the beginning of the marketing of the first beers.

2003
The brewery moves to Virton, in the heart of Gaume, faithful to its origins. Eddy Pourtois will produce 160 hectoliters that year. The Sainte Hélène Blonde, the amber and the Triple D'Jean still produced today under other names are already part of the adventure.

2005
Still growing and after long development work, the brewery is settling down more permanently in Ethe and acquires a brewing installation with a capacity of 14 hectoliters per brew.

2011
The constantly increasing production prompts Eddy Pourtois to join a new partner, Raphaël Vanoudenhoven. Together they created the SPRL Brasserie Sainte Hélène in order to perpetuate the business. This is the perfect opportunity to revise the brand image of the brewery, the "Atelier Design" graphics workshop reviews all the packaging making it more dynamic and in tune with the ever-changing world of craft beer. As a result, new investments are being made, mainly an automated bottling line that will allow the brewery to significantly increase its production capacity and give brewers more time to meet with their customers. Two new beers are also created.
