History :

The project of the Brasserie Careers born from the passion of two friends to the local products, especially beer, national specialty recognized internationally.
In June 2000, out of high school, eager to learn about Belgian beer specialties and François Slabbinck Julien Amorison decide to undertake a journey together by motorcycle, aiming to visit the main Walloon breweries.
Ten years later, following a path oriented in the brewing industry for Julien, and in the area of the wood industry for Francis, the two accomplices undertake the project to set up their own brewery in Basècles.

Was to find a location ... amenities of the old sawmill Amorison located rue de Conde, had an interesting potential, with some adjustments and a good refresh!
The objective is focused on the production of local craft beer brewed with regional natural products. Barley is cultivated by two farmers on the land of the village 1 km from the brewery and turned into malt malting Castle located 7 km from Basècles. Hop plants stems in part grown on the land of the brewery. Wood, historical heritage site, will be used for the manufacture of tanks at the brewery. The choice fell on the poplar tree, tree of Hainaut.
Two years were necessary for the acquisition of equipment (acquired occasion with several Belgian breweries that have not hesitated to help the two young people to start) and the refurbishment of the premises, and that's in November 2012 the chimney of the brewery left for the 1st time to escape a mild hop aroma ...
He still had to name this beer! After much research in the literature on basècloise spent monumental masons, Diole appeared as a good compromise because if the tool is pulled the tails to polish the marble was erased from the memories of most of the time, the term "diol" is still alive and well in the local dialect, and declined several additional sauces! The "Di" particle will also make reference to two friends of this great story.
